The economy, the recession, job loss, no money it can feel like the sky is falling. In many ways what we’ve known growing up is gone. But there is one thing that we have now that we didn’t have before, opportunity, and for many of us a determination to survive we didn’t know we had.

Think about it.

Now with the invention and mass release of the internet we can go to college much easier than we could before. We can work from home, raise a family and go to school, all things which were not available before.

Say Bye Bye to distractions breaking your train of thought.
One of the biggest things for us to work around as students is the constant possibility that we may be interrupted. The phone, the door, the kids, family, our work and even things we are looking forward to.
But when it comes time to really learn our classes the last thing we need is to be distracted. When we’re distracted our minds cannot absorb, or process information effectively. Instead we only partially learn and our grades reflect this.
In my experience one of the biggest interruptions is distraction, whether this is thoughts running through our minds, or physical things keeping us from getting the best grades we can.

Okay sometimes I love the internet and sometimes I really hate it, this is definitely my biggest love hate relationship. For the past few days my internet has been down!  And when you need the internet for school, work, bills, social connection and all the rest what do you do?
